The previous newsletter contained an interview with Bas Knuttel, our policy officer from the Ministry of Infrastructure and Water Management. In this newsletter, we interview Milja Mulder, our Coordinator of the Safety Delta Netherlands Knowledge Centre.

Good afternoon Milja, thank you for introducing yourself today. Could you tell us a little bit about yourself?

My name is Milja Mulder, from 2019 working at the VOTOB the association of Dutch Tank Storage. The VOTOB is from industry linked to Safety Delta Netherlands at the VOTOB safety is also paramount!

You are also working somewhere else, tell me more about this?

I also work at the Learning & Development Academy, an organisation that converts the knowledge within organisations and sectors into digital learning material or a knowledge bank. Lifelong learning also means using and passing on each other's knowledge.

In September this year, Safety Delta Netherlands was looking for a coordinator for the knowledge centre with a focus on e-learning. This was an opportunity for me to put my experience into practice for the SDN.
Who wouldn't want to work towards the ambition that Dutch industry will be the safest in the world by 2030?

Why would you recommend the e-learnings of Safety Delta Netherlands?

Within the SDN, together with the Triple Helix, we will use our skills and current knowledge and create learnings. Learnings from various themes relating to safety for various target groups. An E-learning is a nice way to easily share guidelines, practical experiences and knowledge with each other in a short and concise way. We are currently developing learnings around the theme Learning from Incidents. We can learn from each other and continue to develop together.
