What is the National Coordinator for Counterterrorism and Security (NCTV)?

The National Coordinator for Counterterrorism and Security (NCTV) protects the Netherlands against threats that could disrupt society. Together with its partners in government, science and business, the NCTV ensures that the Netherlands' critical infrastructure is and remains secure. Within the national government, the NCTV is responsible for counterterrorism, cyber security, national security, crisis management and resilience against state threats. To this end, the NCTV works with its partners in the security domain. Cyber security is one of the themes that the NCTV is working on.
