What is NAP Foundation - The Process Industry Competence Network?

The NAP Foundation is a network of companies in the process industry and aims to strengthen the value chain consisting of plant owners, engineering firms and suppliers. NAP tries to achieve its objective by: - bringing together representatives of companies and organisations that operate in the value chain of the process industry, - Collecting and distributing information that is of interest to them, - organising meetings, working groups, courses and seminars, and - maintaining contacts with related organisations and institutions. NAP organises 4 times a year a Contact meeting for its participants. These well-attended network meetings take place at a central location in the country; each meeting is devoted to a topical theme relevant to the process industry, such as developments, trends and innovations from the process industry chain, but also best practices from other industries/segments. As part of the Innovation programme, NAP regularly organises Studium Generale meetings: inspiring workshops in which a specific topic is explored in a period of 4 hours with 15 to 25 interested parties. Participants and instructors exchange thoughts intensively in order to gain insight into what this development could mean for individual companies. Within NAP, the Special Interest Group (SIG) is the platform where substantive expertise is brought together in order to learn from each other and thus promote cooperation in the chain. SIGs: Project Management, Process Safety, Big Data, Sustainability and Young Processionals.
