On Tuesday, Sept. 27, Safety Delta Netherlands organized a networking afternoon in cooperation with partners VNO-NCW, MKB-Nederland, Stichting Nederland Onderneemt Maatschappelijk! and the Ministry of Infrastructure and Water Management to kick off a series of SDN on Tour activities. The network afternoon focused on working together to improve the (process) safety of Dutch Seveso companies and their supply chain partners:
Safety of Dutch Industry NOW and in the FUTURE.
After a word of welcome by Arjan van Dijk (SDN program director), the viewpoints of industry, regulator and policy were shared in a plenary session by Willem Henk Streekstra (VOTOB), Nienke de Wilde (DCMR) and Victor van de Pas (Ministry of Infrastructure and Water Management)
In the two sub-sessions that followed, a number of SDN projects and Safety Deals were explained and energetically discussed by attendees.
It was good to meet again live and inspire each other. All in all, a great start to the SDN on Tour!
