Summary
Security policy contributes to the continuity of secure business operations, reducing the negative consequences of crime, early detection of undesirable behavior, protecting intellectual property (IP) and strengthening resilience against (digital/terrorist) threats.
The Royal VNCI, together with the VNCI Working Group on Security, has drawn up a manual on security threat scenarios for the (petro)chemical industry.
This guide provides chemical companies with tools that they can use to assess their (cyber)security risks on the basis of threat scenarios that are relevant to them. This will enable companies to (further) strengthen their (cyber)security management systems. The focal points of the approach may differ at the business level, and the guide requires customization at the business level.
