Hydrogen cilinders and transport vessels

This publication was originally prepared at the end of the 1980s and the last revision was made in 2011. There is no additional information for this revision. - As far as recommendation No 1 is concerned, the (950 MPa) strength limit for steel cylinders may be exceeded by using the qualifying protocols given in ISO 11114-4. - New applications of hydrogen with working pressure more than 300 bar and using composite cylinders are not covered by this document, but ISO standards are in preparation.
