Other types of Brzo monitoring

Summary
In the course of 2018, an exploration was carried out into the possibilities of using self-assessment information in other types of (risk-driven) supervision of companies that fall under the Decree on Risks of Severe Accidents 2015 (Brzo). This supervision is carried out by different inspectorates working together in the Brzo+ programme. On behalf of the programme the Social Affairs and Employment Inspectorate is the commissioning authority for this study.
this investigation.

The immediate reason for the exploration is the work in 'Roadmap 3': Transparency as a driving force for safety. Roadmap 3 is part of the Sustainable Safety 2030 Programme, a partnership between governments, companies and knowledge institutes aimed at the sustainable improvement of safety in the (petro)chemical industry.

The partnership of inspection services, the Brzo+ programme, is interested in the possibilities of transparent information sharing in relation to safety.

The report describes the purpose and approach of the exploration, the conclusions of the exploration and development directions for the future.
