Summary
The State of Safety provides a picture of the efforts and findings of both the supervisors through the monitoring BRZO+ and of Brzo companies in the (petro)chemical sector through the annual report of Veiligheid Voorop.
On December 5, 2022, the State Secretary of Infrastructure and Water Management presented the State of Safety Brzo companies 2021 to the Lower House of the States General. In 2021, 408 Brzo companies were active in the Netherlands.
The report summarizes safety performance, the status of safety management systems of Brzo companies in 2021 and policy measures for 2023.
