Process Safety Fundamentals - European Process Safety Centre (EPSC)

Process Safety Fundamentals are a set of basic principles intended to support Frontline workers, supervisors and operational managers. They draw attention to situations that could lead to a release of a hazardous chemical with potential for severe consequences and emphasize existing good practices to prevent such events. The current collection addresses 18 typical hazardous operational situations. The EPSC Process Safety Fundamentals do not include new safe operating principles. Instead, they address well known basic principles but presented and visualized in a way that they can be used as a tool enabling front line workers to get a better understanding of process safety in their day to day activities.
