This publication was originally prepared at the end of the 1980s and the last revision was made in 2011. There is no additional information for this revision. – As far as recommendation No 1 is concerned, the (950 MPa) strength limit for steel cylinders may be exceeded by using the qualifying protocols given in ISO 11114-4. – New applications of hydrogen with working pressure more than 300 bar and using composite cylinders are not covered by this document, but ISO standards are in preparation.
