Webinar - SAQ Light 19 April 2022
Summary
The SAQ 2.0 is an improved version of the SAQ (Self Assessment Questionnaire) developed in 2015 and consists of a series of questions on hardware (installations), software (systems) and mindware (culture and behaviour). Using the SAQ 2.0, you give an assessment of the aforementioned topics and can create an action plan for further improvement.
The SAQ Light is the little brother or sister of the SAQ 2.0. With the SAQ Light, it is possible to get a reasonable picture of the safety level and control measures in the company in a relatively short time, on the basis of a limited number of questions. If you wish, you can explore a subject in more depth using the SAQ 2.0. The SAQ Light version is particularly intended for starting Brzo companies, SMEs working with hazardous substances and so-called ARIE companies.
The first introduction session of the SAQ Light was held on 8 February 2022 in the form of a webinar. The more extensive workshop followed on 19 April 2022, organised by SDN together with Veiligheid Voorop and Royal HaskoningDHV.
During the workshop of 19 April, it appeared that a next step might be to form a user group where parties can share experiences on the application of the SAQ Light. Furthermore, Safety Delta Netherlands has started to compile knowledge collections, including Internal | External Supervision. Findings from the SAQ Light could be used to compile knowledge collections.
